The only snow we want to see in AZ...
Walking with the penguins...
Some sort of lit up animals...
And of course it wouldn't be AZ without coyotes stalking a bunny!

A big, warm, house of Chang welcome to the newest addition of the Newton Family! (see link to "Newton News") This is Brennen Zachary, the first boy for our friends Buck and Jess. He was born on Tuesday morning and weighed in at a hefty 8 lbs. and change. Congrats to all the Newtons - and especially to Cae and Gabby on being big sisters now! We love you all!
Today we had a Doggie Play Date in our backyard with our friend Lexi. She's a beautiful Golden Retriever whose Mommy works with me at the hospital. This picture was taken a little later in the 'date' when Chloe was starting to get brave. Lexi and Journey had a grand time chasing and playing with each other. Chloe stood on the outskirts for the most part. At one point she did get brave and jumped into their chasing game. It was so comical to see her trying to 'run with the big dogs.' They all got along great and we're looking forward to our next play date. Chloe and Journey were so tired out they both slept for most of the afternoon and didn't start playing together again until about 5:00 this evening! Thanks for coming to play, Lexi!

This is our new friend Journey. She's a Labradoodle and we're doggie sitting for her for the next week and a half. As you can see from the picture, she's quite a bit bigger than Chloe. She loves to play and we can't figure out if she thinks Chloe is a playmate or a toy. :) She's very gentle and loves to cuddle (we're hoping Chloe will learn that from her). This photo was taken the first night we got her, and it was a 'lucky' shot that I got them to both sit still at the same time!
