Bringing Home Baby...a trial run

This is our souvenir from the wedding. His name is George. If you have been reading our blog, you will remember him from his visit to us over Christmas. We brought George home from California this weekend, along with his brother Jake. Jake went to our friends Brad, Michelle, and Matthew. George is a little shy with people, cameras, phones, and ice cubes. George also likes to howl. His transition here has been really good so far (all two days of it). He likes to sleep on the couch or just follow me around. He and Chloe haven't really played together, but they haven't fought, either. Last night they even slept in the same area together without so much as a whimper or bark.

We went to the doggie park yesterday and they both did great. We got to see George run and play with the other dogs - and he did it well. He also walked on the leash very well - making Chloe look bad. I think that's going to be a trend.

This time the camera was quicker than the dog. :) Good boy!

P.S. The dogs weren't the only take-away from the wedding...we just got the bonus :) I wonder what they'll give away at their other receptions...
