For Patrice

Today we went to the Surprise Party and got to walk around outside. We saw lots of neat things - a wallaby, pig racing, a big snake, a bubble machine, a train, a carousel, clowns who made us balloon animals, just to name a few. Mommy's favorite part was the above photo - eating cotton candy! She wanted it on the stick, so they had to make it fresh just for her. Mommy said that the last time she had cotton candy on a stick like this was when she was pregnant with us. We wonder if that influenced our growth or behavior in any way. She also said that she thinks of our friend Miss Patrice when she eats cotton candy, because it's one of Miss Patrice's favorite things.

On a side note, as you can see the weather here is sunny and warm! We have heard rumors of something called snow where lots of our extended family lives. We don't know why they'd stay there in the cold when they could come and play in the warm sunshine with us. :)
