Apparently we take turns chewing on each other's fingers. :) Here's the scene from this morning...

Part of our morning routine is for me to get the babies and play with them in our bed while I wake up (it takes me a while). Then they usually calm down and sleep a little while longer. This morning I went downstairs to get something and this is what I found when I came back. One of those moments that makes me absolutely love being a mom of twins!

Wise Words

I found this quote on another blog that quoted it from someone else, and I thought it was worth quoting on our blog:

“spending time working with our daughter isn’t necessarily good for our marriage, but spending time working on our marriage is always good for our daughter.”

I think that's a good perspective to have as new parents (and someday when we're old parents, too). :)

You're Not My Brother!!

Sheri and I have been walking on weekday mornings to train for the upcoming 1/2 marathon. We have been taking the babies with us for two reasons: 1) it gives us extra weight and a better workout, and 2) we don't have anyone else to watch them. :) This morning it was kind of chilly, so Isaac borrowed Josiah's fleece to wear. (Josiah went shopping with Daddy this morning and Jonathan walked with Mommy.) Sheri got this picture of Isaac and Jonathan before we went for our walk - dressed like twins, but not really...

Fab Four

Here are the first pictures of our fab four. This may be a tradition...and they may not appreciate us lining them up on the floor when they're 16. Actually, they may not do it for us next year when they're 1. :) I guess we have to do these things while we can!
